1. Logging In - To log in to our system, simply
type in your username, which is your email address and your password. For first
time users, use your temporary password that was emailed to you. Then log
in and change your password to something that is easier to remember. If you
have forgot your password, then click on the link on the login page and fill
out the form to retrieve it. It will be reset and emailed to you within 12
hours.

2. Creating an Account - If you are
a customer with York Electric Motors, but you don't have
an online account yet, click on the link on the login page and fill
out the form. A password and username will be emailed to you so
you can have access to your items online. If for whatever reason we cannot
identify you as a customer will will contact you either by phone or email to
request more information.

3. Searching for items - There are five
categories to search by on the left menu: 1. Inventory, which is if you
are an inventory management customer, then you can lookup what items are stored
at our warehouse. If you are not an inventory management customer then
there is nothing to search on. 2. Open and Closed Work Orders, if you
have any items that have been repaired here at York Electric Motors, then
you can located them either in Closed Work Orders or Current Work Orders. You
will be able to lookup the specs on the motor and the job status. If it is a
closed job, then you can see what was repaired and the work flow of the repair.
If it is a open job, then you can see in real-time what the current status of
the repair is.

4. Changing your Email/Password - To
change your site email address or password, simply login and click on the
Edit Email/Password link in the header. When you change your email address it
will send an email back to the new address with your updated email
address. When you change your password, an email will be sent to the
registered email address for that account with your new password.

5. View/Saving your results in Microsoft Excel - Our
site has the capability to view or save your search results in any category to
a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel. To be able to do this you must have at least,
Microsoft Excel 2000 SR-1 installed on your pc. To check what version of Excel
you have, open Excel and goto Help -> About. Once you have performed a
search, on the Search Results page click on the button "View/Save in Excel" on
the top right, this will open MS Excel spreadsheet in the web page. If you want
to save this spreadsheet to your pc, then goto File -> Save As, here you can
save it to your pc. To save in MS Excel format be sure to select Excel
spreadsheet in the Save As dropdown. If you want to print it, then goto
File -> Print. To go back to your results page, simply click Back. If you
want to be able to view/save all of your category items in one file, be sure to
have "no limit" set on record per page option.
